The origin
A dream within the
Marbella Club Hotel
Founded in 2020 by Belgian entrepreneur Peter Meirsman, Lijomi was born out of a long-held vision: to create an architecture and interior design studio that would become a benchmark in the region. For years, Peter dreamed of establishing his studio within the iconic Marbella Club Hotel, a name known to all in Marbella and far beyond. The hotel represented everything Lijomi aspired to be: timeless elegance, understated refinement and a location that resonated with the history of luxury on the Costa del Sol.
After months of waiting for approval from the hotel management, persistence and conviction finally paid off. In a final attempt, Peter wrote a heartfelt letter describing his vision and determination. That letter changed everything. The hotel granted him the space, on one condition: he would have to invest in transforming it himself.
What was once a dark, unused warehouse became one of Marbella's most distinctive design showrooms. Through dedication and creativity, Lijomi transformed the space into both a working studio and a reflection of its design philosophy: refined, functional and emotionally resonant. Every decision made during the transformation, from lighting to spatial layout, was deliberate and carefully considered. The result was a space where clients could experience first-hand Lijomi's design philosophy: calm, clarity and timeless quality.

Since its opening, Lijomi has established long-lasting partnerships with prestigious international brands such as Minotticucine, Deltalight and Atelier Alain Ellouz, among many others. These collaborations were not casual, but the result of a careful selection of partners who shared the same values of quality, innovation and craftsmanship. The studio's architects and designers have contributed to numerous high-end projects in Marbella and beyond, combining technical expertise with aesthetic sensibility.
After the success of the Nalipemi construction company, the opening of Lijomi also marked the beginning of the MICLIJOR Group, where today several companies work together in harmony to create real estate projects of the highest quality. Lijomi became the creative heart of the group, bringing architectural vision and design sensibility to each project.
